The only way I know to explain life is through stories: stories that connect us to each other, stories that clarify our experiences and stories that allow us to navigate life's many challenges.

I've been writing stories full-time for more than a decade, first as a print journalist at the Flathead Beacon, Northwest Indiana Times, Growing Community Media and the Daily Inter Lake, and later at Manifest, an award-winning creative content agency in Chicago.

In addition to my writing, I've also produced audio and video stories, including the award-winning narrative podcast, Project 7. I also hosted, produced and edited a series of daily podcasts published during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic to keep residents informed during the chaotic spring and summer of 2020.

Before turning to storytelling full-time, I spent 11 years in minor league baseball, helping to create once-in-a-lifetime experiences for fans and leading a hard-working team of employees, players and staff to success on and off the field.
