After 11 years as a front office executive in professional baseball, I headed for the snow-capped mountains, clear blue skies and pristine waters of Northwest Montana in 2015 to begin working full-time as a journalist. I moved back home to Chicago with my young family in 2021 and we now live on the city's northwest side.
